READ Foundation strongly believes that an educational institution is incomplete without its own building. Initially, we start our schools at rental buildings. However, right from the start, efforts are made to accommodate the schools in their own purpose built premises. To date, we have been able to house 37 of our schools into new buildings and a further 16 building projects are underway. Construction of a school building serves as Sadaqa-e-Jariya (perpetual philanthropy). Donors may dedicate a building to those they love

| For a more conservative budget, we can still provide a purpose built school building but with pre-fabricated materials with a smaller
square footage (3,500 sqft). Please ask for a project proposal for donation of a pre-fabricated school building. |

| £8,000 Kindergarten construction programme |

| Early years education is very important to set children off on the road to education. You could sponsor the construction of a 2 classroom (960 sqft) pre-fabricated kindergarten block, making a profound impact on the young children that will attend (note: conventional construction blocks can also be constructed for £12,500). |

| £7,200 Sponsor a science laboratory |

| Secondary schools require this facility in order for children to learn specialist subjects. Without a science laboratory, no secondary education can be delivered adequately. |

| £6,500 IT lab fit out |

| No school is complete these days without IT facilities. 15 computers, a printer, furniture, networking, software and books will be provided. |

| £6,000 Furnish a school - secondary |

| 400 pupils at secondary stage will benefit, each year, from our secondary school furnishing programme. |

| £3,500 Build a classroom |

| Sponsor the construction of a pre-fabricated classroom for only £3,500. This Sadaqah Jaaria project will have a long term benefit to all the pupils who learn there. |

| All furniture and 1500 books required for a fully functional library in school. |

| 210 pupils at primary stage will benefit, each year, from our primary school furnishing programme. |

| Equipment and furniture for a high school science lab is £2,500 and for a middle school science lab is £1000. |
